So much time has gone by since the last time that I took the time to post anything to the blog. It is hard to believe, but the boys have grown another year! Tax season and baseball season are both in full swing again, so we are amid practices throughout the week and a countdown to mid-April. Things are just as hectic as they were this time last year; however, it is easier somehow.
Don't get me wrong....the house is still typically a mess, the laundry is still piled high....but this year we seem to be enjoying the outdoors more, enjoying the opportunity to be outside together more than we were able to last year. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that E now understands that he cannot be on the field when his brothers are playing and is now old enough to play catch or hit off of the tee with his brother and I. I no longer have to use all of my physical and mental energy to restrain a child who is being tortured with the fact that he can't have "THAT" ball! I was actually disappointed the other day when practice was rained out!
Great things are on the horizon in the Wojtek house. I can't say for sure what God has in store, how and when it will play out, but I know that His perfect plan is big. He is leading us down a path and we aren't quite sure where we will end up. It may be nowhere near what we expect; but, just knowing that it is His path brings peace. Peace amid chaos. Our response to His love cannot be silent. Others may not understand it, but as Pastor John used to say, "sometimes you have got to be weird!"
